Beverly Ritz BUDDY AND ME

HOME PAGE

Beverly Ritz is a highly respected pianist, composer, and recording artist. Born in Washington, D.C., she grew up listening to beautiful music. When her father drove her to school, she was inundated with the sounds of classical music. In the house, her mother listened to the songs of Jobim and Mancini on popular radio. Beverly began to write down the music she heard in her head even before starting piano lessons at the age of 8. By the time she was in 3rd grade, Ritz realized she had a God-given mission to write, record, and perform music that would transform the moods and lives of its listeners. Her album Buddy and Me is featured on BEAUTIFULinstrumentals.com and LIVE365 jazz ambiance stations..

CHUCK CAPE ~ In The Spirit of Christmas

A Wonderful contemporary interpretation of classic Christmas songs and carols. Chuck Cape writes: Like the little tree on the cover that is similar to, but not exactly like all the other trees, so goes this collection of carols. One might even say that the little tree with the green lights is “In The Spirit Of A Tree”. That is, it has the same essence as a tree, but is different enough to stand apart from the rest of the forest. That thought was the inspiration for this collection.
Each carol in this collection, while in the spirit of the tunes on which they are based, often deviate from the original form and go to some very unusual places. From memories of Christmas mornings with my girls (“Hark! The Herald Angels Sing”), to my own ‘Christmas mornings’ growing up (“The First Noel”), from the view of a snowy mountain scene (“For The Beauty Of The Earth”) to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra at their annual Christmas concert (“O Come All Ye Faithful”), all of these arrangements were inspired by scenes from my Christmas seasons past.
And of course, the originals were also inspired by real events in my life and are, somehow, related to Christmas. From the first Christmas after my Mom passed away (“The Remembrance Carol”) to trips home for the Holidays (“A Christmas Homecoming” and “The Long Journey Home”) to the numerous Candlelight services I’ve attended (“A Winter’s Hymn”), each of these songs represent a part of my heritage.

Steven C ~ On Christmas Night

On Christmas Night features Steven C's trademark piano arrangements of the most beloved Christmas music. Subtle percussion, bass, keyboards and vocal textures complete this sound tapestry, however aside from his talent, Steven's 9 foot Bosendorfer Grand piano is the shining star!

Minnesota Public Radio: One of the biggest dreams and challenges for any artist is to to make a living from their art alone, and relatively few succeed. St. Paul musician Steven Anderson, or Steven C., as his stage name goes, is an exception. Anderson has built a thriving behind-the-scenes career in the "New Age" music industry as a producer and pianist. Now he's stepping out of the shadows with a new CD....More

OceanSiyotankaGaia

Gaia is the third in Grammy-nominated composer/musician Michael Brant DeMaria’s Healing Sound Project. Two years in the making, DeMaria’s multi-instrumental work takes us on a musical world tour exploring earth (Gaia) as a living presence and chronicling her awakening on down through time. DeMaria’s instruments of choice are Native American flutes, but he also performs on an impressive array of other instruments - Xiao, Shakuhachi, keyboards, piano, synthesizers, world percussion, and his own voice. Native flutes have a haunting quality to begin with, and DeMaria’s expressive playing makes this music unique and deeply emotional.
