Beverly Ritz is a highly respected pianist, composer, and recording artist. Born in Washington, D.C., she grew up listening to beautiful music. When her father drove her to school, she was inundated with the sounds of classical music. In the house, her mother listened to the songs of Jobim and Mancini on popular radio. Beverly began to write down the music she heard in her head even before starting piano lessons at the age of 8.
